Jean-Marie Guérin, EasEnergy’s Director of European Projects, is based in Paris, where he manages the development of new applications in Europe for EasEnergy’s portfolio companies and the relationships with EDF operating divisions. Jean-Marie has a diverse background in management, consulting, and purchasing performance.

In 2003, Jean-Marie joined EDF to be in charge of the cost-killing department of the Purchasing Division. Prior to this, he had been a consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, a top five management consultancy. His consulting work focused on performance improvement in the energy, industrial process and automotive sectors. Previously, he spent 10 years at Pechiney, a major French industrial company, as Purchasing Vice-President in the Aeronautics Division.

Jean-Marie brings to EasEnergy a strong knowledge and network in the electric generation and transmission divisions. He holds a Master of Engineering from the Ecole des Mines, a top French engineering school.
