Jean-Francois Penneau Konarka

On board with Konarka since 2003, Jean-Francois is in charge of the improvement of the efficiency and the stability of the dye sensitized solar cells, and of the interpretation and diagnosis of the failure mechanisms of dye sensitized solar cells connected in series . He also liaises with EDF Group in order to prepare the applications of this breakthrough technology.

With more than 10 years of experience in a variety of positions of responsibility within the EDF Group, Jean-Francois Penneau has acquired knowledge and expertise in several areas including fuel cells, potovoltaics and cogeneration at EDF.

Jean-Francois holds a PhD from the Nuclear research center at the University of Grenoble where he was a research associate in the field of electrochemistry and conducting polymers for three years.
