Clipper Windpower


On board with Clipper Windpower since 2004, Nicolas de LABOUCHERE has used his expertise in electrical engineering to work on the grid integration of Clipper’s large turbines and also in design optimization, manufacturing specification, and pilot demonstration.

Nicolas joined the EDF Group in 1994 where he developed a deep knowledge of thermal and hydraulic plants by leading a variety power station refurbishment projects in France. In 1995 Nicolas joined the design and construction team for hydro and wind projects in the international market (Thailand, Laos, Korea, Georgia, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Morocco, Iran, Guinea and French Guyana.) During a long term assignment abroad (Ukraine), he gained solid experience in project design and construction.

Nicolas holds an Engineering Degree from the Institut des Sciences de l’Ingénieur de Montpellier
