Serveron’s TrueGas™ is a transformer monitoring system that provides a continuous, real-time sampling of the dissolved gasses in transformer oil to detect the early warning signs of an impending critical failure. Concentrations of 8 key gasses are continuously measured by a chromatograph inside the TrueGas and readings are then relayed via an Internet connection to Serveron’s data center for 24/7 analysis and alarm notification.

Easenergy expert Francois-Xavier helped the technical team develop the TrueGasTM Transformer-Oil Monitoring Instrument. As a result of the close collaboration Serveron is enjoying sales of its TrueGas systems to EDF in the generation division.

With EDF as a reference customer Serveron is looking to expand its European sales. EDF plays a key role in a market where the customer needs to trust that the system will perform reliably and needs to understand how to use the new data and adopt more effective maintenance practices.
